Editorial & Medical-Review Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

Medical content can affect how students learn and, indirectly, how they practise. We take accuracy seriously. This page explains how StethoPrep questions are created, sourced, reviewed and corrected.

How our questions are written

Medical review

Content is reviewed for factual accuracy by qualified medical graduates on the StethoPrep team, led by founder Dr. Vivek Trivedi, before and after publication. We continuously re-check questions flagged by users.

Corrections

Every question has a “Report an issue” button. Reports go straight to our review queue; genuine errors are corrected promptly. If you believe a question or explanation is wrong, please report it or email us via Contact — we're grateful for the help.

Sources

We reference established textbooks (e.g. Harrison's, Robbins & Cotran, Gray's Anatomy, Guyton & Hall, KD Tripathi, Bailey & Love, Park's, Ananthanarayan, and similar standard references) and current major guidelines, cited per question where applicable.

Important disclaimer

StethoPrep content is intended for exam preparation and educational use only. It is not medical advice and must not be used for diagnosis or treatment of any patient. Always rely on primary literature, institutional protocols and qualified supervision in clinical practice.
